CDTS offer a competitive hydroseeding service from site appraisal through to application and maintenance if required. We operate five hydroseeders from a lorry-mounted 6000-litre unit down to 2500-litre trailed units, enabling us to efficiently tackle any site.

Hydroseeding, sometimes spelled hydraseeding, is the process of spraying a mix of seed, mulch, fertiliser and binder on to a substrate, which can vary from topsoil down to rock face. The technique is used where either the soil is too rough (i.e. very rocky) or too steep to cultivate and seed by conventional methods. Hydroseeding can turn the otherwise intractable clay cap on a landfill site into lush green grass. In recent years, using machinery specifically designed for this operation, CDTS Ltd has hydroseeded many hectares of roadsides, waste management sites, industrial and commercial developments, coastal projects, and mining sites.
